CARAVAN CLUB

CERTIFICATED LOCATION
FOR 5 CARAVANS

Caravan site

Newly opened site for the summer of 2006 we offer the opportunity to locate close to the town of Southend-on-Sea its beaches and very long pier.
Backing on to the Essex Golf club provides a golf course within walking distance. Situated within the Equestrian Centre offers horse riding lessons close at hand. Hats are provided if you are a beginner and wanted to try riding for the first time. See dress code for some ideas on what to wear.

For the walkers we are on a network of footpaths
and within half a mile of a sea wall walk along the River Roach.
Southend has a large shopping area with "out of town" superstores never more than fifteen minutes away. The small town of Rochford with its quaint market square is ten minutes away for a more leisurely shop.
Many pubs and restaurants in the area provide a diverse opportunity to dine out. BBQs are welcome on site but only raised ones, no open fires on the ground are allowed.
There is no extra charge for awnings but we ask that only breathable ground sheets are used.

The site is situated at the end of the main driveway, do not drive up into the Equestrian Centre. Should you make this mistake you will be able to turn round in the car park
but you will possibly be held up by horses crossing the yard.
On reaching the end of the drive where it forks turn left through the double gates across the green between the two big trees (see below) and through the gate on the bridge.

Find a pitch and then call at reception/shop in the main centre through the double white gates.
If you arrive after 5.30pm on Friday, Saturday or Sunday the main reception will be closed
but will reopen at 9am the next day.

Within reception you will find sweets for sale as well as a range of country clothing.
The Dairy cafe is open Saturday and Sunday 9.30 to 4.30 for All day breakfast.
For other Meals see the "Specials Board".
If you would like to walk up and watch the riding lessons you are welcome.
We do however ask that you do not wander around the yard when we are closed
You may find there are horses in the field next to you, please do not feed them tip bits as they may argue over who will get the next piece and you may get bitten

We now have electric points !!

Remember to telephone (01702 543377) and book your pitch
The site is closed when we hold one of our shows.
Reception is open Friday to Monday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Tuesday to Thursday 9.00am to 8.00pm

We hope you enjoy your stay in the country - but close to the town.
